Why is it that the laws of our so-called great land are in fact built to only rehabilitate and rejuvinate, our economy...forget about the victim, because they are gone, they cannot defend themselves...they were murdered...what a tragedy...this is not justice in anyway, shape, or form...the guilty person, even though that person made a sound decision to take another life, to murder...to willfully, act in a premedtated state to end the life of not only the person they kill, but all of the other victims...the loved ones of the deceased...The victim has no rights, why, because they cannot tell their story, and the establishment has found that it is very lucrative to defend, rehabilitate, and probate the living accused, the term justice means to keep our economy, and its well greased wheel oiled with our blood of our loved ones... What a farce...that a human being can and does murder someone else, without provocation, and literally "Get away with murder"...for you and I to pay for these people who have murdered our loved ones...back, via our tax dollars....the private and public incarceration for murderers, the whole process, IE Courts, District Attorney Office, detectives, assistants to the assistants, therapists, psychiatrists, probation, parole, doctors...etc., is this justice for your loved one...well for me, this juvenile murdered my son and literally got away with murder...he was convicted of second degree murder only because a well known attorney here took on this case...and offered this ridiculous plea bargain, which the DAS office readily accepted...Jovani Muniz, sixteen years of age when he committed this atrocity, this year...January 03, 2010 was convicted of Second Degree Murder, this entailed him being charged as an adult...NOT...the plea bargain (what a bargain for him) entered entailed that he spend the maximum of six years in the Youthful Offender System here in Colorado...this means he gets the best health care anywhere, the best education anywhere...college professors so when he gets out he will have a degree, and he gets out....in Six years, scott free...with a degree...If You Consider This Justice... I had to know every detail about that god-awful day...I could not, and would not, live with myself...if I did not...not believing my son Conrad was dead, even though my son fought for his life...to very end of his life for good...like the valiant person he was in life...on to life, for nine gruelling hours in the emergency room...until finally....he succommed...to his fatal wounds...I held my son Conrad, tightly...in my arms...covered only in a sheet...his wounds evident...both of us...now...full of his own blood...on that hospital bed...his eyes wide open, tried, but could not shut them...not breathing...anymore, never again...soo soo devastating...dealing with the death of Conrad was/is Catastrophic-times a zillion...But then...we had to deal with the fact he was murdered...jumped by a gang of thugs...and killed...and the ensuing Homocide Investigation, dealing with a Denver District Attorneys office, whom did not want Denver to be seen as having a gang problem, the lack of morality and due diligence ran rampant, the lack of human dignity by his so-called friends he was with, would not testify to the whoile truth, for fear of there own life, one of them even going so far as to say, "I need to live", and "won"t jeopardize that".....the ultimate Plea Bargain that allowed for the No Justice Decision...for my son...by the DA'S office...there was no trial...Who should be held accountable...Conrad never was a gang member...But...if he would have been, the DA would have "apparently" charged convicted murderer Jovani Muniz with first degree murder, for "Gang Retaliation" which carries life, with no chance of parole.......go figure......Conrad believed in truth, justice, standing up for what you believe in...helping the underdog get a fair shake...What A Twist Of Fate...
